KODAK Picture Kiosk

Select your KODAK Picture Kiosk System to find the latest software and content updates

APEX V8.2.1 / KPK V3.2.1

This update requires APEX V8.2 or KPK+ V3.2. This update:
  • Restores the ability to connect iPhone via a USB cable (requires iOS 8 or later for best results)
  • Adds support for the new Facebook API. Facebook changed their privacy settings; once this release is installed, consumers will only be able to view their own
  • Facebook pictures and those of any friends who have also used Facebook on the Kodak Picture Kiosk. Facebook is discontinuing support for the old API, so without this update, consumers cannot access any of their images on the kiosk.
  • Fixes a number of reliability issues, particularly photobook issues.

Installation Instructions

 IMPORTANT! You must install the software on each Kiosk:
 

  1. Does “KPK+ V3.2” or later appear in the lower left corner of the screen?
    Yes No
    Continue with Step 2. Do not install this software!.
  2. From the Main Screen of the Kiosk, touch:
    • [Setup]. Enter the password if necessary.
    • [Install Software]
  3. Insert the CD into the CD drive or insert the USB Thumb Drive into an available USB Port.
  4. At "Software Installation", touch [Check for Media].
  5. At "Installation CD Detected", touch [Install].

    The Kiosk restarts and a backup occurs.

  6. Remove and store the CD or USB Thumb Drive in the software wallet.
  7. At "Installation Complete", touch [OK].
  8. Touch
    • [Setup].
    • [Diagnostics]
    • [Application Health Check]
  9. Does “APEX V8.2.1 / KPK+ V3.2.1” appear?
    Yes No
    Continue with Step 10. Install the software again. If it still does not appear, contact Service and Support.
  10. Touch:
    • [Continue]
    • [Start Over]
    • [Exit]
