Windows 10 1809 Monthly Security Update

May 2025:  The May 2025 Security Update is a cumulative release, containing all prior Windows 10 1809 security updates.

IMPORTANT!:  This release now requires APEX+/KPK+/SPS V23.0 or later with the "APEX+/KPK+/SPS USB Wifi Driver Update", on a device running the Windows 10 1809 operating system. If you do not have this update, please download it from the support site, under "Security Updates" just like these monthly updates.

Installation Instructions

Please ensure that you have the "APEX+/KPK+/SPS USB Wifi Driver Update" installed before attempting to install this Windows 10 1809 update! If you are not sure whether the driver update has been installed, please download it from the "Security Updates" section of the support site first and attempt to install.

For each security update:

1 Extract the files from the self-extracting ZIP file and copy to a CD or thumb drive.

2 From the Main screen, touch Setup.

3 Touch Install Software.

4 Insert the CD/thumbdrive into the CD-RW drive.

5 At “Software Installation”, touch Check for Disk.

6 Touch Install Modules.

7 Touch Continue.  

8 Touch Install.

9 The installation will automatically reboot the system.  Once the reboot starts, remove the CD or thumb drive.
